Description BrandMuscle's Business Analyst (BA) interacts with various teams within the organization to coordinate the development of software requirement specifications in the format of use cases.
Under general direction, responsibilities of the BA include:
Assisting in assessing the needs of the client and clearly defining projects, communicating and applying project standards.
Transforming both internal and customer requirements into system specifications for use by our software engineers
Communicating effectively with clients and engineering teams to clarify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions, managing expectations appropriately and consistently delivering documentation within required timeframe
Creating and maintaining our standard product implementation documentation, which leads the client service team in the discovery phase of the needs assessment
Generating user interface prototypes as part of the requirements definition as needed
Advancing the efficiency of our internal processes by proposing improvements and alternative solutions
Executing test plans
Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner,
Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Requirements
Bachelor's degree at minimum
Self-starter, able to quickly understand business issues and data challenges of BMI client base
Ability to manage time effectively
Motivated to participate in development opportunities beyond training required by BrandMuscle
Desire to foster teamwork through idea sharing, supporting and celebrating others' contributions
Ability to learn and grow from coaching opportunities, appropriately incorporating feedback
Desire to uphold and advocate accepted documentation and procedure standards established by the team.
Experience
Entry level position. Desirable related work experience includes workflow design, process execution, and testing.
