GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Business Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of clients utilizing the RealMed RCM suite of products. In this role, the Business Analyst will be accountable for understanding the individual configuration and details for a defined list of assigned clients. The Business Analyst will perform initial triage of incoming support issues as well as the testing, analysis, documentation and resolution of those items.
Additionally, the Business Analyst will participate in projects and product development to
advance expertise in various RCM tools, leading to subject matter expertise in one or more areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Triage, research and documentation of support issues for RealMed RCM clients
Work with Client Account Managers, the Client Service Center and/or clients to provide thorough and complete Helpdesk ticket resolutions within published SLA timeframes.
Timely escalation of issues to SMEs to ensure support tickets are resolved within published SLAs.
Creation of business, technical, or operational solutions to support recommended resolutions.
Work with Product Owners on development projects related to client needs, including requirements/User story input, and limited UAT testing
Setup & configuration of new offices for existing clients, including analysis & documentation of additional test file results as necessary.
Active participation in internal projects & committees
Process documentation and improvement activities
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Required)
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to interface with internal & external customers and management.
Ability to manage multiple issues and projects effectively and quickly adapt to frequently changing priorities.
Experience in gathering various types of requirements including data, functional, business and technical
Strong skills in analysis, problem solving, communication, documentation and critical thinking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of one or more general Information Technology principles ? FTP or other file transfer automation, security fundamentals, data processing functions, Operating Systems such as Windows Server, UNIX, etc.
Familiarity with one or more SDLC methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, etc.
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Preferred)
Understanding of a physician?s office and/or hospital revenue cycle.
One years? experience in healthcare IT or Operations, demonstrating proficiency in the technology and/or workflows used in a physician practice or hospital environment
Experience in an Agile software development methodology environment
Experience working with one or more of the following practice management software:

SuiteMed IMS
Understanding of structured data analysis using SQL databases and queries.
Familiarity with EDI processes and related technologies
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION (Required)
Associate?s Degree in a Healthcare or IT related program, or equivalent work experience.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION (Preferred)
Bachelor?s Degree in a Healthcare or IT related program, or equivalent work experience.
