Business Analyst - Interoperability Services Greenway Medical Technologies

The Business Analyst for the Interoperability Services team will be responsible for providing information and feedback to the development team while coordinating and understanding any changes being implemented in PrimeSuite and being able to ensure seamless process and quality work product. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have the ability to communicate with various clients, partners, team members and at varying levels of executives and employees within the organization and externally.This position will also work to define and prioritize build projects; ensuring project specifications are met and standard operating procedures are followed, including documentation for all new interfaces and designs in a format appropriate for use as an end user reference guide. This Business Analyst works closely with Software Engineers and Quality Assurance technicians to design and test solutions.
The Business Analyst serves as a source of knowledge for other departments in the company regarding product designs and our users? needs. Specific knowledge related to hospital/ health system workflows are necessary to be effective in this position.
? B.A. /B.S in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field required
? 2-5 years experience in software product design required. 3-5 years experience working with electronic medical record systems and hospital workflow is necessary.
? Due to the high level of involvement with software developers, previous experience working with a team of technology sound professionals is necessary.
? Familiarity with software development processes and defect tracking tools is desired.
? Excellent analytical skills required. Must work well both independently and in a team environment.
? Working knowledge of MS Windows necessary.
? Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
? Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Visio, and PowerPoint is a plus
