Business Analyst Avectra
Position Summary:Avectra is seeking a business Analyst to use project management and analysis skills to gather and formalize requirements, assist with the design of the solutions, and work with cross-departments to communicate solutions. This individual will also perform quality assurance on the developed solutions. This position requires a communicator with an astute eye for detail who can convert functional requirements into clear specifications for technical personnel to develop.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Gathering and distilling requirements from key stakeholders (executive, sales, marketing, and product management).
Work with Product Management to create technical specification, solution design and level of effort based on product marketing documents.
Monitors project progress and budget, prepares and issues project communications and documentation.
Requirements:
2 - 5 years of experience as a program manager or software architect on the Microsoft Platform.
Solid technical understanding of .NET, and SQL.
A working knowledge of object-oriented methodology, SQL, XML and web services.
Business experience with CRM, CMS, Social networking, broadcast messaging, e-commerce applications, or association management software solutions considered a plus.
Excellent organization and attention to detail. Demonstrable experience in multi-disciplinary leadership, strong customer focus and excellent people skills.
Ability to react constructively to changes in requirements and deliverables.
