The Business Analyst - Mobile will develop requirements and BRDs for mobile payments systems. The candidate should have basic knowledge of the mobile ecosystem and technologies including hardware, software and networks that support mobile commerce applications. In addition the position requires familiarity with the card issuing, mobile payments, and telecommunications industry.
Must be able to create use cases, flow diagrams, vision and screen flow
The Business Analyst will participate and/or facilitate discussion, definition, analysis and documentation of business/Technical requirements related to Mobile Commerce and Wireless Services. The B/A will translate those requirements into the necessary business, technical and/or functional requirements specifications which detail the business need and communicate expectations for successful delivery. The B/A will drive and participate in complex business initiatives and joint application development (JAD), create and maintain a document management methodology and manage documentation and follow through for project Action Items, Issues and Risk Mitigation.
Minimum 5+ years Business Analysis customer facing business experience
Experience in the Mobile Commerce and/or Wireless Services industries
Experience with Mobile Wallets business/technologies is preferred
Bachelor?s degree in CIS or MIS, or equivalent work experience
Business process re-engineering and requirements analysis skills a must
Exceptional business requirements and technical writing and presentation skills a must
Solid understanding of project management methodology and SDLC is required
Understanding of the domain area is preferred (retail or product)
Experience documenting business requirements and producing project artifacts and deliverables is required
Extensive experience and proficiency with office productivity tools: MS Office: Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and PowerPoint
Exposure to the following technical areas is preferred: Relational Database Design, Web technologies, Enterprise System Design, Transaction Processing
Demonstrated group presentation discussion facilitation and negotiation skills
Experience in navigating cross-functional teams (business/management teams, IT infrastructure teams, and IT technical/development teams) and across multiple priorities
Strong verbal and written communications are critical
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
