POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting initiatives to launch and improve existing applications on the NaviNet Open Platform. In this role you will be part of a cross-functional development team capturing requirements and developing technology solutions.
To be successful in this role you will be comfortable with technology, software development lifecycles, web-based products and healthcare industry topics. You?ll also enjoy solving problems for people and understand user-centric design.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (in order to be considered for this position, the individual must be able to perform essential functions listed below):
Gather and analyze requirements from multiple sources.
Validate requirements to ensure they meet stakeholders? needs.
Document designs using modeling tools. (e.g. prototypes, Visio, data modeling tools).
Capture key design assumptions and risks.
Communicate features, behaviors and benefits so that supporting teams understand what to build, how to support it and what to present to the market.
Organize work onto a timeline and lead small groups to move tasks forward.
Analyze feedback & data from users and the market and provide leadership and guidance into product roadmap.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
3+ years experience in a web-based product company environment.
Demonstrate experience in one of the following areas: business analysis, product management or solution consulting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong desire to learn new things and apply them to improve.
Willingness to invest time and energy helping others be successful.
Be a natural communicator; comfortable using influence to lead and mobilize in a cross-functional organization.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, presentation and negotiation skills.
Ability to turn ambiguous and conflicting requirements into clearly defined solutions that satisfy the highest priority market demands.
