Responsibilities:The Business Analyst role is a high profile position at Scivantage, responsible for driving development and design of a equity & equity derivative ecommerce based platform, providing domain expertise internally during both implementation and production stages.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Designs, drives and manages new requirements to for product enhancement
Minimizes exposure and risk on assigned projects
Analyzes market platforms
Identifies business development and "add-on" opportunities as they relate to a specific project
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.

Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, where there is an expectation that assignments will be completed on time, with high quality, and with minimal supervision
Possesses superior writing and verbal communication skills
Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Strong comprehension of Equities and Equity Derivative analytics
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree required
5-7 years of increasing experience in the financial services industry
Proficient with Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
Good organizational and time-management skills
Proven skill in managing multiple tasks, establishing priorities and meeting timelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with both Business and Technical team members
Understanding of equity and equity derivative trading and analysis
