We serve the leaders in the foodservice industry which include â€" McDonald's, Jack in the Box, Wendy's, Burger King, Albertsons, White Castle, KFC, Carrabba's, Applebee's, Chili's, and leading independent restaurants.
SUMMARY:
The position of Business Analyst â€" Tier 2 Support is responsible for managing functional application bugs and the implementation of enhancements to Oracle Applications. The role of analyst may also include analyzing root causes, training, and participating in user acceptance testing. This cross functional role will include troubleshooting production incidents and help requests in a Level 2 service desk capacity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy & Planning
- Manage applications bugs and enhancements, determining when an issue is a bug needing attention through the internal support team or by opening and managing a SR with Oracle.
- Test QA enhancements before deployed into development.
- Write functional design specifications including:
o Functional Area Overviews, Business Requirements, Use Cases, Window Specifications, Interface specifications, and other pertinent items to facilitate the development of Oracle reporting, customization, and extensions.
o Participation in activities necessary to migrate responsibilities through the various non-production and production environments per the company change management process.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education:
Four year Bachelor's degree from a college or university in computer systems design or computer science, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience. Five years experience in IT with three to five years in a BA or support role.
Experience:
Required Skills
- Skilled in Oracle ERP and MS Office tools.
- Experience opening, managing, and resolving Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support.
- 5+ years business analytical experience with strong IT, finance & operations experience.
- 3+ years experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.
- Open to learning Oracle International.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
Desired Skills
- Basic project management skills
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts and processes
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12
- Some experience using SQL and PL/SQL
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to document, design, and implement new processes as well as improve current processes. Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas in user friendly language. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as detailed business process designs, requirements, and functional specifications. Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Ability to speak effectively before groups.

-Base salary + Bonus potential
