Scivantage, Inc. is a rapidly growing financial software company with offices in Jersey City, NJ (immediately adjacent to Newport-Pavonia) and Boston (2 blocks from South Station). We specialize in web-based online trading applications catering to retail and institutional clients.
Scivantage Maxit is the leading cost basis solution for the financial services industry. Clients include leading firms in retail brokerage, prime brokerage, custody and transfer.
This is a unique opportunity for a driven, entrepreneurial Business Analyst to join a rapidly growing team and take ownership over his/her projects. As a candidate, you should have a background, which includes a strong mix of the technical and business aspects of performance reporting, concepts, such as Time-Weighted, and Money-Weighted Returns, Performance Attribution, and GIPS compliance. Additionally, you have experience developing and managing successful web-based products. You thrive in an independent environment where results are paramount.
Responsibilities
The Business Analyst role is a high profile position at Scivantage, responsible for providing domain expertise to all clients during both implementation and production stages.
Spear-heading the next phase of the company?s unique performance reporting offering.
Gathering and documenting user requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that system documentation exists and is accurate
Analyze and interpret reported problems
Manages and contributes to the requirements development process.
Sets and manages client expectations.

Qualifications
Bachelor degree required
4-7 years of increasing experience in the financial services industry
Proficient with Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
Good organizational and time-management skills
Proven skill in managing multiple tasks, establishing priorities and meeting timelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with both Business and Technical team members
Understanding of Performance Reporting strongly preferred (i.e. calculation of returns using various methodologies, performance attribution, etc.)
