Job DescriptionWe are looking for exceptional Business Analysts to join our friendly and talented team of professionals at Grant Street Group. As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to become a subject matter expert on TaxSys functionality, and the business that it supports. You will work closely with clients, other analysts, developers and management on identifying and resolving complex software and business problems, testing code fixes and new features, and be responsible for the execution of various projects. You will also be expected to identify problems with the software and make recommendations for new features or products.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and investigate software and business process issues reported by clients or colleagues
Gather and document requirements for new features and functionality
Respond to client inquiries by phone, email or through our on-line ticketing system
Adhere to internal and contractual Service Level Agreements; maintain company standards of excellence
Test code fixes, new features and functionality, and write clear and detailed accompanying notes
Be the technical resource for user documentation creation and updates
Act as primary liaison for specific clients and become familiar with their business processes and needs
Manage regular calendar projects or new feature implementations as assigned
Lead demos and training sessions for new or existing functionality
Requirements include:
Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
Adaptable and able to effectively multi-task
Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication competency
Demonstrably computer proficient, numerate and adept at learning new and complex software applications
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong 'Plain English' writing skills
Knowledge of SQL and databases a plus, but not a requirement.
