The Opportunity:
Title: Business Analyst
Reports to: Sr. Director, Customer Management ? Global Services
Location: Pleasanton
About the Job:
We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in the Supply Chain or S&OP domain
We are focused on hiring a super star that can effectively work across functional and technical focused areas of the customer?s organization as well as with our global delivery and partner teams
You must be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Support project team throughout project lifecycle working closely with customers to drive solution designs which align with and enhance best practice collaborative planning
Capture and document functional solution requirements and support project team with presentation preparations
Work closely with clients to validate and test key system configurations including business rule configuration, source system data integration and mapping, hierarchy and product structure verification and system set up
Contribute to development of test scripts and scenarios based upon business use cases and expected system behaviors
Prepare and conduct customer training sessions
Work closely with customer resources to test and troubleshoot the Steelwedge application
Perform numerical analysis
Develop custom pivot table reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science or the equivalent
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in and across different team environments
Must be able to travel up to 80% including the possibility of international travel
Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
Experience developing Excel models with Pivot Tables
Bonus Qualifications:
Solutions consulting or business consulting experience
Practical Supply Chain experience
Ability to write SQL and/or PL/SQL queries
S&OP/SCM application experience
Exposure to ERP, SCM, or CRM systems and enterprise systems implementations
