Scivantage is looking for a dynamic Portfolio Reporting analyst to report to the SVP Client Reporting. This is a unique opportunity for a driven, entrepreneurial Business Analyst to join a rapidly growing team and take ownership over his/her projects. As a candidate, you should have a background which includes a strong mix of the technical and business aspects of investment performance calculations, standards (GIPS), data, and web-based product implementation. You thrive in an independent environment where results are paramount.
Responsibilities- The Business Analyst role is a high profile position at Scivantage, responsible for providing domain expertise to all clients during both implementation and production stages.
Gather and document user requirements.
Ensure that system documentation exists and is accurate.
Analyze and interpret reported problems.
Manage and contribute to the requirements development process.
Manage day-to-day client interaction.
Set and manage client expectations.
Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster strong client ties.
Skills- This position requires a candidate who is smart, flexible and able to perform well with minimal supervision.

Possesses superior written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred. CIPM designation highly desirable.
Deep understanding of performance reporting calculations and concepts, including:
Time and money weighted returns
Asset allocation and rebalancing
Graphical representation and modeling
Expertise in GIPS standards.
Deep knowledge of performance data flow and implementation.
Experience with web based product implementation.
6-10 years of increasing experience in the financial services industry.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with both business and technical team members.
Understanding of cost basis and after- tax reporting preferred.
