Business Analyst-Process Automation Ellie Mae
The Business Analyst-BPA will define requirements for features and products with specific focus on features common across best-in-breed enterprise workflow and business process automation software. This includes responsibility for features including workflow automation, system customization, business rule management, and analytics.
Conduct research to solidify detailed feature requirements through user stories and/or functional specifications.
Work with sales, customer service and customers to understand issues and minor enhancement requests.
Convert large user stories into smaller, detailed user stories that developers, user experience, and quality assurance resources can digest.
Coordinate with sprint team to deliver enhancements and bug fixes.
Maintain up to date knowledge regarding mortgage industry and technology trends as well as the Ellie Mae product line and competitor products.
Skills and Experience
4 or more years as a software business analyst preferred.
Must have experience developing and detailing software product requirements.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, quality assurance, support, marketing and sales.
Flexible and able to adapt within a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor?s degree in business, computer science, or an engineering discipline required. MBA preferred.
