RequirementsMinimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Lead Business Analyst having worked in complex Data warehousing / Analytics and Reporting projects and preferably on Oracle and OBIEE technology.
Very good understanding of entertainment domain - TV, Ad Agencies and how the viewers data is analysed and used for fine tuning the offerings by broad casters, ad agencies etc.
Strong SQL, PL/SQL Skills, able to slice and dice data.
Identify patterns in data, data mining, identify data anomalies.
Basic Data modeling skills. Knowledge about star schemas, data marts essential.
Strong testing skills.
Good Analytical and problem solving skills
Experienced in working with multiple teams and off-shore coordination experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills - ability to work and elicit requirements from client, translate it into PRD and work with the offshore team who are senior folks / playing senior role like Offshore Architects, BAs, PMs, QA Leads etc.
Very good knowledge of solutions in the marketplace for data processing, storage and reporting
As a Business Analyst you will
Collaborate with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Cross Functional Teams in gathering requirements.
Work with Product Managers in translating business requirements into PRDs.
Drive PRD review meetings with multiple stakeholders.
Make presentations and keep stakeholders informed of the progress during product development.
Create Data Specification for Engineering Teams.
Identify data discrepancies, be responsible for Data SLAs and identify data approximations or workable solutions.
Close gaps with Product Management on Requirements.
Clearly communicate requirements to the Development and QE teams.
Work with QE teams, review test cases and verify results.
Be responsible for the final quality of the deliverables and correct implementation of requirements.
Work with Product Management to create the best Analytic products.
