Responsibilities:
Leading analysis efforts on complex system integration and development initiatives for enterprise level solutions
Will lead and conduct reverse engineering of legacy technology solutions and identify opportunities for enhancements
Able to support/function in a product management capacity to assist with the refinement of technical vision for these complex products.
Able to produce detailed system requirements specifications, complex data flow diagrams, ERDs, domain models, message sequence diagrams, test plans, swim lane and process diagrams using standardized documentation methods
Interface with Developers, Architects, Business Stakeholders, and Product managers, to understand and propose technology solutions to meet business and technical objectives
Analyze legacy system architecture and processes to suggest improvements and recommendations. Provide subject mater expertise on the capabilities/constraints of existing systems and proposed solutions
Provide analysis time estimates and phased deliverables, and product roadmaps
Document, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify systems
Prepare use cases and formal requirements specifications, along with tracking dependencies and releases
Work closely with development and design teams in the creation and validation of user interfaces and functional/Non functional requirements
Knowledge of Quality Assurance engineering and processes.
Education and experience preferred:
College Degree/Preferably in a field related to computer science or software engineering
Required experience working on large enterprise service systems and R&D Software development experience
Required experience working on complex system integration projects within a heavy technical environment
Qualities desired:
Experience working on complex enterprise projects
Experience with formal requirement engineering practices (JAD, RUP, UML)
Domain experience in the Sports Market as an analyst or Quality Assurance Professional is preferred.
Comfortable doing presentations, facilitating JAD/JRP Workshops and requirements gathering sessions. Able to conduct training sessions and facilitate workshops/JAD Sessions.
Comfortable working where reverse engineering of legacy systems and services is required to understand internal and/or external dependencies
Any special requirements:
Experience developing solutions to comply external compliance oriented regulations as it (e.g. COPPA, PCI, DSS, Data Privacy Laws and Regulations, SOX Compliance etc).
