The Business Analyst will be responsible for performing all required tasks and activities in a data conversion project. This role will be required to:
Perform educational workshop with customer via conference call or in person discussing conversion scope, approach and project timeline.
Act as Project Manager, create project plans, ensure customer adheres to tasks and deliverables, take appropriate action to address project impediments, report project status to customer and manager.

In addition, the person in this role will also be expected to:
Prepare for and execute conversions.
Perform accounting reconciliation of customer data.
Research/diagnose problems for prompt resolution to time sensitive issues. Maintain issue log tracking reported issues and resolutions.
Develop positive customer relationship and maintain client satisfaction throughout project.
Effectively collaborate and communication with conversion developer throughout project.
Act as data conversion Subject Matter Expert.
Act as business analyst to customize conversions, resolve product defects, upgrade existing conversion products and develop new conversion products and tools as necessary. Includes research, analysis, business specifications, QA testing and delivery.
Learn new technologies and participate in training opportunities to further develop skills and expertise.
Ensure work and/or decisions are made in a timely manner according to committed schedules.
Aggressively work to meet department goals and objectives.
WHO ARE YOU?
You have an intermediate to advanced understanding of insurance terminology and industry.
You have strong analytical skills and have experience working in a technology-based, project-driven environment.
You are detail-oriented, a problem solver, possess a highly effective method of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
You have demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
You have worked in a deadline driven environment, have a demonstrated track record of meeting project deadlines on time and can easily adapt to changing priorities.
You have proven to be a dedicated contributor that will work tirelessly in delivering outstanding service and support to customers.
You are proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Office and have experience working with other software tools.
You have a positive attitude, great sense of humor, are a team player and have a desire to impact change.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s degree or High School Diploma/GED with comparable work experience
Project management certification is a plus
2-4 years project management experience
2-4 years customer service experience
1-2 years insurance agency experience
Knowledge of databases, datasets and data structures is a plus
Knowledge of insurance accounting or general accounting principles is a plus
Requires weekend and after-hours availability for client support and assistance.
