The Business Data Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to take on big responsibilities and directly impact our success. We?re looking for someone with sharp analytical skills and refined communication abilities to join our team. You?ll be exposed directly to senior leadership, gain insight into our business and be a driving force in our international expansion.
You?ll work directly to solve critical issues the business encounters as it scales. The position, a pre-MBA role, is ideal for an individual who wants to get hands-on experience with significant opportunity for growth within the organization.

The role will vary depending on business needs, but potential projects could include:
Data analysis ? conduct in-depth data analysis critical to evaluating different strategic opportunities and initiatives across business development, marketing, supply and new geographies/markets
Business development - develop materials for and attend high profile sales with CEO
Investor relations ? prepare investor updates and handle inquiries from key investors
Office of the CEO - represent the CEO in internal and external meetings and liaise with key line managers to identify and track new initiatives and follow up on potential business opportunities
Skills and Attributes:
Organized and reliable with attention to detail ? can handle multiple simultaneous tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills ? can provide clear, fact-based direction for a range of business issues touching a variety of functional areas
Financial acumen and modeling skills ? can pull-together analyses from back-of-the-envelope market sizing to full P&L projections
Outstanding written and oral communication, including strong ?executive presence? and ability to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams
High degree of creativity, curiosity, and optimism, with an eye for possibilities that will drive the business forward
A sense of humor and positive, ?make-it-work? attitude
Located in or around New York ? note that we will not relocate candidates
Willingness to travel (incl. internationally)
1-2 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity firm
Also willing to consider similar candidates with prior M&A, partnership development, or strategy/business development experience
Bachelors Degree from a four year accredited college
