About the Position
The Business Data Analyst will support the VP of Inside Sales driving analysis, business requirement validation and documentati on related to Inside Sales KPIs. This role will be measured by the quality of the analytic work, ability to build process and automation around deliverables of analysis, the effectiveness of the communication created to explain analytical conclusions, and resultant internal and external changes produced by the analyses that are delivered.
Responsibilities

• Define and develop KPI centric models (e.g. conversion, engagement, ROI, etc.)
• Craft insightful analysis that can be easily understood and digested by stakeholders that provide actionable recommendations for optimization
• Integrate metrics from various data sources: web analytics, channel analytics, competitive analytics, budget/planning data, attitudinal data, social media buzz to drive integrated insights
• Interpret research and analytic findings; explain their strategic/tactical implications on business strategies and how they can be used to create effective sales optimization strategies.
• Validate delivered solutions meet the needs of the business and the expected results.
• Manage several projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• 3+ years solid experience; top tier firm or banking experience preferred
• BA/BS from top university in Mathematics, Busi ness Administration, Economics or a related major preferred .
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and relational databases.
• Influential while presenting data to executive management and clients.
• Proven organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
• Unstoppable determination to drive results.
