Imperva is looking for a stellar Business Development Alliance Manager/Director to join the Business and Corporate Development team, located at corporate HQ in Redwood Shores, CA. As a key member of the Business and Corporate Development team, the Business Development Alliance Manager/Director will be responsible for driving revenue opportunities with our most strategic alliance partners. Although this is not a quota carrying sales role, you will be responsible for the overall success of the partnership from all aspects including joint product development with partners, success of GTM initiatives, and sales collaboration. Revenue influenced by partners or directly generated from such alliances would also be among key metrics of success.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute account plans including go to market strategies, lead generation plans, sales training goals, etc.
Work closely with both Imperva and partner product teams to build and launch joint solutions.
Work with both Imperva and partner sales teams to identify sales opportunities.
Work with Imperva and partner marketing organizations to collaborate on awareness and lead generation initiatives
Qualifications:
Proven track record of 5+ years in alliance management or relevant experience as an SE or product manager in the security industry.
Strategic thinker that can see the market whitespace, and create/drive a initiatives to address.
Self motivation and drive to work independently and within a team setting.
Ability to negotiate and close partnerships and complex commercial deals.
Experience assembling and launching solutions to market.
Understanding of reseller and system integrator channels.
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
