Overview:Performs a variety of procedures to assist in the accurate reporting of financial information, reviews work of staff accountant as assigned, and performs special financial projects as directed.
Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling for potential acquisitions
Financial due diligence for potential acquisitions
Analysis of acquisition asset data, to enable efficient evaluation
Confirmation of Insurance plan access with the CCS contracting department
Management of legal files and monitoring of updated file versions, to enable easy access to all contracts and agreements
Development and tracking of timeline and checklist system for each potential acquisition
Initiation and integration of Operational plan for each acquisition, including serve as the acquisition onboarding lead and the key contact between acquisition and operations during onboarding process
Development and tracking of due diligence checklist for each potential acquisition
Post- closing, organization of digital due diligence files, for audit readiness
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance, and three to five
years of accounting experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Three to five years of an advanced accounting background in mergers and acquisitions; healthcare finance preferred
Experience with SQL report writing
Must have the ability to work independently with close attention to detail
Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
Moderate Travel
