About the Job
The following is a representative description of the position?s role and responsibilities. Reflecting the flexible nature of our work, Nexant will adjust this description as necessary to meet operating and strategic needs of its business.
Nexant is seeking someone to work in Utility Services Business Development and in close coordination with Operations groups, Sales and Marketing. Business Development Associate provides support with maintaining/updating SalesForce.com (SFDC), KnowledgeTree (KT), Open Air and other business development support and administrative activities. The Business Development Associate will also work in a proactive manner on business process improvements and reporting for the Business Development organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plays a key role in entering information and maintaining the accuracy of data contained in SFDC, such as:
Reconciliation of data;
Creating new Accounts (avoiding the creation of duplicates);
Converting Leads to Contacts (avoiding the creation of duplicates);
Verifying the accuracy of information within Opportunities;
General projects as new objects are created and implemented;
Contributes to the ongoing quality and usage of SFDC;
Assist with the mapping of mass changes as needed in SFDC;
De-dup leads and contacts while verifying lead/contact information;
Assists in maintaining the quality and accuracy of uploading information into KT and Open Air systems for Utility Services;
Maintains familiarity Utility Services and Corporate initiatives;
Assists the Business Development Vice President with administrative and other duties as assigned;
Coordinates and collaborates with Corporate Sales Operations and Corporate Marketing on SFDC related initiatives and activities.
3 plus year?s experience with sales operations, sales support, business operations and/or business administration or equivalent education
Strong SFDC skills
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities (knowledge of how to use pivot tables)
Strong interpersonal skills to work with other Departments and Business Units
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision; detail oriented; business acumen and problem solving skills
Ability to adapt to frequent changes and prioritize multiple projects
Ability to work well under stress
Keen attention to detail and a hands-on attitude
Dedication and commitment to the team and individual tasks
