Marketlive, Inc. is a leading eCommerce software and service provider for mid-sized retailers. We form tight partnerships with customers like Warner Brothers, Jessica Simpson, Disney, Party City, Armani Exchange, Neutrogena and many more. We are looking for a highly motivated, proved successful inside sales person to join our team.As a Business Development Associate your responsibilities will be:
Create demand for our eCommerce offering with organizations selling direct to consumers over the web.
Relentless prospecting via phone, email, and mail.
Qualify sales opportunities to be assigned to Account Executives.
Develop, orchestrate, and manage a territory plan with specific goals and objectives.
Research target companies/vertical markets and implement effective marketing campaigns.
Work closely with Account Executives to optimize prospecting efforts and provide support throughout the sales cycle.
Receive and manage inbound solicitations.
Display initiative, self motivation, and high quality work meeting deadlines and business goals within a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
5 years inside sales, prospecting experience for a software company.
High caliber professional with new account development experience.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of the eCommerce market and ability to discuss and understand the strategic advantages of business processes driving sales for B2C marketers.
Experience with contact management tools, such as SalesForce.com
Ability to work independently as well as an integral part of a team.
Experience selling virtually over the internet with contemporary technology tools.
Comfortable working at all levels of an organization with professionals on both the business and technology sides.
Demonstrate focused commitment, high energy, and utmost level of integrity.
Knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
