Rhythm is looking to expand our business development team which builds and maintains our strategic partner relationships. Rhythm provides an advertising technology platform and premium direct sales to more than 300 mobile applications and sites in the US for media partners such as CBS, Warner Bros., Fox, NBC Universal, VEVO, and IAC, as well as independent publishers and game developers. We?re rapidly growing every facet of our organization in response to the massive growth we're seeing in advertiser demand, publisher relationships and most important of all, revenue. The right candidate will be equally comfortable with identifying fantastic media content and building external relationships as they are analyzing the returns of new strategic opportunities. As a method of working, we value trust and honesty. We look to serve as a trusted adviser to our partners in navigating a particularly fragmented mobile technology landscape, in addition to providing the most effective advertising services. This position is located in Los Angeles.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Is passionate about digital media and the mobile internet and wants to make brand advertising a lot better than it is now
Communicates brilliantly, whether it's a briefing, an email or a conference call
Possesses incredible analytical, problem solving, financial modeling and presentation skills
Leads by executing, not managing, thinks systematically and focuses on scaling operational processes
Must have positive attitude and results driven personality
Knows the difference between organization (good) and bureaucracy (bad)
A relationship builder with experience cultivating relationships with high- level managers in large organizations
Enjoys traveling and entertaining in NYC, LA and elsewhere (harder than it sounds)
Must have exceptional negotiation and closing skills
Self-motivated and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Has excellent references and wants to win now
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-4 years combined experience in digital media/technology in roles such as marketing analytics, business development, strategy, product management, investment banking, management consulting or similar
Bachelors degree from top undergraduate institution
Existing relationships or experience with Lifestyle and Beauty publishers a plus
