THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As a part of the business development team at Coursera you will play a key role in bringing an affordable education to everyone. You will help develop and execute on high level strategies that will help Coursera achieve sustainability. You will pursue and own partner relationships that create value for students, for university partners and for Coursera. Additionally, you will work across the Coursera team, with business development, engineering and course operations, in service of Coursera?s growth and overall success.
We are looking for an associate to work with the business development team to pursue strategic partnerships and to explore potential revenue opportunities. The person must be passionate about changing higher education, and interested in working for a social enterprise.
Seek out and own strategic partner relationships.
Collaborate with the business development team on development of overall strategy.
Provide quantitative and quantitative analysis to inform team decision making.
Support the business development lead with special projects and follow-up.
The ideal candidate would have superior written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for education. The candidate should also be entrepreneurial and comfortable working in an ambiguous and quickly changing environment. 2-4 years experience in consulting, marketing or sales; experience in education a plus.
