Business Development Director, Labs Medivo

Summary:
The Director of Labs BD leads all sales efforts for assigned Labs, including market research, account sizing, lead targeting, account planning, pipeline management, contracting, and reporting to senior management. In addition, the Director of Labs BD maintains key internal relationships with Client Services, Operations, IT, Product Development, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to optimize the Lab BD process.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver on quarterly and annual quotas within assigned Lab accounts.
Develop territory account plans, including prospect identification and database creation, on behalf of the company.
Conduct market research, account sizing and lead targeting efforts, and use the information to guide account planning activities.
Determine client business strategies to maximize territory sales volume, including frequency of personal visits to client, direct mail efforts, and telephone contact.
Responsible for prospecting and establishing new Lab relationships.
Manage Lab communication during all phases of pre-sale and post-sales process. Responsible for maintaining accurate account records on behalf of the company, including contact information and activity reports for distribution to management.
Communicate with Operations & IT staff on the details of the subsequent data transfer implementation process with contracted labs.
Day to day Lab account management responsibilities including training on Medivo services, pricing and proposal development, pipeline management at all stages of the sales cycle, being available for key client meetings, ensuring Medivo staff are focused on client needs.
Provide executive team updates each week on progress towards goals, critical needs from other internal groups, and access to all ongoing sales pipeline activity, proposals and contracts
Use Google Documents/email/Calendar, Webex, Powerpoint, Excel to manage daily internal and external workflow, communications, & reporting
Contribute to Medivo?s definition of the value we provide to Labs
Requirements:
Ability to establish account plans, engage in positive internal stakeholder collaborations, and deliver on the sales goals while managing client expectations
Ability to articulate the value of Medivo?s services to Labs & simultaneously solicit input from and listen closely to Labs? needs to help Medivo develop unique value to our Lab partners
High-level of communication skills to manage internal and external expectations of the delivery of our high-value, new-channel healthcare services
Track record of personal relationship building and selling into the Lab industry

Education and Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably graduate degree in business
3-5 year successful track record of selling services in the laboratory industry.
Demonstrable client deal-making experience and Lab contacts
