Create a vision for inside sales:
Defining insides sales mission and roles
Educating and build relationships internally and with customers
Creating metrics for measuring effectiveness
Coach sales reps and oversee rep development:
Holding one-on-one meetings
Reviewing calls to improve future customer conversations
Leading product and sales skills training ?
Drive sales results and focus on meeting revenue targets:
Tracking sales productivity ?
Complete administrative tasks:
Overseeing hiring for inside sales
Creating sales goals and quotas for each rep. Affiliated activities include designing business objectives and allocating territories.
Coaching/developing employees and measuring results??70 percent:
Develop selling plans with inside sales reps
Train inside sales reps
Partner with reps on calls
Guide sales rep careers ?
Sales-related/Selling tasks?30 percent:
Focus sales reps on targets
Monitor sales performance
Undertake administrative work
5+ years managing inside sales for complex sales department
