Executive ManagementThe selected candidate will be part of the strategic decision-making on the Compays business avenues, including strategic alliance, partnership, licensing, and investment. As VP of Business Development you will be responsible for aggressively developing business relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostic and reagent companies; you will also be involved in promoting the Companys business and visibility, and in securing financial resources for the Company.
Qualifications
PhD or PhD/MBA with several years of relevant research and development experience in the life science industry with increasing levels of responsibility
Excellent understanding of leading edge technologies in current post-genomics and proteomic field, and ability to project future developments
Proven track record in business development in the biotechnology and pharma sector
Ability to translate discussions into appropriate deal structures of varying complexity
Strong negotiation skills and prior management experience required; creativity and innovation, a plus
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
