THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The ideal candidate for the Business Development Executive will be energetic, self-directed, results-driven and will thrive in a performance-based environment.
The BDE will develop and execute a sales strategy for aggressive growth. The BDE must be a professional salesperson capable of creating a ?value? proposition to a variety of targeted accounts. In addition he/she will use their knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry, outsourced solutions, and/or supply chain logistics to develop and manage a robust pipeline.
Job duties include, but are not limited to: Travel up to 60% of the time. Cold Calling/Prospecting/Developing new opportunities. Creating brand recognition in an assigned territory. Validating and qualifying new leads. Strong presentation and negotiation skills. Setting up meetings with potential businesses. Creating and maintaining relationships with executive level decision makers. Exhibiting a strong understanding of the prospect/client business-to-business needs. Managing margins in current accounts. Maintaining a 5 to 1 ratio of active pipeline accounts as required to meet revenue/gross margin goals. Managing client and account information in SalesForce.com. Attending trade shows and industry events as required.
