PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Adknowledge Engage Channel offers a comprehensive value proposition to both online advertisers and web publishers: "Extend your reach, Engage your visitors?
Focused on the emerging paid content distribution/content discovery platform and business model, we leverage established technology and business practices combined with new technology and business models to create a ?start-up? business with a solid foundation inside of the robust Adknowledge organization.
Adknowledge Engage Channel includes solutions targeted toward online publishers and advertisers as well as consumer properties.
Our publisher solutions provide various monetization solutions targeted at implementations for search traffic, content sites, and other web-based applications.
Our advertiser solutions provide additional reach for online properties and advertisers, allowing them to cost effectively obtain additional visitors and page views from our vast network.
The Business Development Executive sources and establishes new relationships with Advertisers and web publishers that are looking to drive traffic to their sites. In this role, you will help Adknowledge customers increase their monetization and meet their advertising goals using our Engage products. Primary duties include:
Identify, approach, and close new Advertisers and Publishers for Adknowledge Engage products.
Manage a pipeline and accurately forecast projected close dates and monthly advertiser budgets. Prioritize to optimize revenue and minimize impact on other parts of the Engage organization.
Establish and maintain accurate data in Salesforce.com. This is the ?System-of-Record? and all activity and success will be recognized through SalesForce reporting.
Execute against a strategic sales and business development plan.
Prepare and present detailed business review to management on a weekly basis.
Represent Adknowledge at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to evangelize our solutions for customers and the market.
?Additional duties include:
Travel up to 25% of the time.
Keep up to date on any industry changes that could impact the Adknowledge Engage business.

Skills and Abilities:
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident ?hunter? with at least:
5+ year's sales experience in an online advertising / internet / e-commerce environment, prospecting and account management.
Previous experience with selling to web publishers and advertisers.
Established set of relationships with online publishers, especially sites with significant content assets.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:
Strong communication skills; understand the publisher?s needs and position the Engage solutions appropriately
Confirmed and Proven Record of Closing Accounts
Passion for working in a fast-paced start-up environment
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple sales cycles at once
Consultative approach to customer acquisition and account relationship development
