About the Job:
We are looking for a high achieving self-starter who embodies excellent business judgement, leadership and technical saviness to join our business program as an intern.
As an intern, you will work closely with the business development representatives to learn about Twilio's platform, develop your sales abilities, and qualify inbound leads.
Engage and qualify inbound leads
Responsible for metrics and reporting for inbound sales line
Use Salesforce.com to track inbound lead flow
Conduct market research in order to help business development reps
Build an outbound campaign from scratch by end of the internship
You are analytical and detail oriented. You can collect data and quickly make decisions about next steps in the sales process. You are comfortable making data-driven decisions.
You are an intelligent and ambitious go-getter and you're excited to develop your technology business development and sales skills working with a fast growing company with real traction in the marketplace.
You are a tech-savvy people person who learns fast and thinks on your feet. You love working with real customers; listening to them and solving problems.
You're ready to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done, doing whatever it takes to retain and delight a customer. You've admired the Nordstrom, Apple, Zappos service ethos.
You're an undergraduate student currently enrolled at a top tier university.
You've won awards for being awesome in some way.
Leadership experience of some variety, such as starting a business or leading a team or club.
A can-do make it happen attitude; you are comfortable making decisions with little supervision or direction.
