Business Development Manager - Agencies
Oversees the development of strategic relationships within the agency ecosystem. This role reports to the VP of Business Development, and works in concert with several team members within marketing and sales.
Identify strategic agencies that, together, unlock customer success and sales opportunities.
Selectively evaluate interactive, digital, social agencies for partnership.
Work with partner organizations to understand a mutually beneficial business relationship and drive new business opportunities.
Generate and develop business plans and marketing programs to support new business opportunities.
Work directly with marketing / product marketing to plan and develop assets necessary to arm both internal and external sales forces.
Work directly with sales to present to prospects and to manage opportunity pipeline generated by partners.
2-4 years proven marketing, sales, and / or business development experience in agency or technology services.
Experience working with social initiatives and campaigns a plus.
Experience within an organization focused on selling enterprise software solutions and/or consulting services to Enterprise and Mid-Market companies.
Experience in relationship building with executive-level/decision-maker contacts within large brands or agencies.
Proven success in developing new business and managing complex sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals.
Proven track record of penetrating and expanding strategic relationships.
Exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
Bachelor Degree (or equivalent); Masters Degree a plus.
