In this role, your primary objective is to build partnerships with prospective publishers, agencies and networks by articulating the incremental value Criteo provides to their existing publisher monetization models. Business Development Managers at Criteo identify and access prospective publishers, and negotiate media purchases that help to optimize publisher revenue.
Prospect premium online publishers in the North American market
Access decision makers and build partnerships over phone and email with publishers
Consult with publishers to optimize ad revenue and build long-term relationships
Provide dedicated account management to mid-market accounts through publishers or agencies
Responsible for sales, revenue and growing publisher partnerships in your book of business
Assess and resolve advertiser/agency/publisher issues encountered when working with Criteo
Encourage feedback from customers to enhance Criteo?s products and services
2-3 years of experience in online advertising with knowledge of the buying and selling strategies of display media owners
Bachelor?s degree in related field
Successful track record of phone based sales experience (prospecting, cold calling, and closing new business over the phone)
Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
Experience selling to and closing business with true decision makers in mid-markets accounts
Negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at all levels of a client or agency
Experience in online advertising industry preferred (advertising sales, media buying, etc.)
Strong math and analytical skills as well as strong understanding of MS Excel
