Business Development Manager - Builder Services Redfin

We have closed over 10,000 real estate transactions saving customers more than $100 million in real estate fees with an industry leading customer-satisfaction rate of 97 percent.
With inventory levels at historic lows but many home-buyers still underwater in their current home we have a deep belief that new construction will be the bridge that helps bring home prices back to a level where more existing owners are able to sell their current residence, stabilizing the market.
We are searching for a driven, creative, analytical business development professional to identify and execute on opportunities for Redfin to open a new channel in builder services to generate revenue and plant a forest of Redfin ?for sale? signs across the U.S.
What you'll do:
Visualize: Help us refine our pitch to the builder community. Redfin has the largest online community of serious buyers and a unique value proposition, but we need to hone the message
Hunt: Use your creativity, cunning, and speed to find hidden gems as well as the low-hanging fruit on opportunities for Redfin and builders to work together
Evaluate: Whip out your spreadsheets! You don?t need to be a rocket scientist, but we want a manager with the tools to quickly understand the scale of the opportunity and turn that into an accurate projection of dollars and cents
Realize: Work with Redfin engineering, product management, finance, and our executive team to bring these opportunities to life. We have a need for speed, and you?ll need to influence others internally to achieve your goals

Creative: You?ll need to identify the opportunities that may not be immediately obvious and to approach every negotiation with a fresh perspective and a ?what if we could? attitude
Analytical: You see the big picture, but you can dig into the details of every deal and evaluate the upside and the risks. You scrutinize assumptions, and always ask ?is that realistic??
Experienced: 2 - 5 years of business development experience preferred, with bonus points if you?ve worked in builder services or the construction community
Fun, caring, and humble: We all work hard, but it?s important to have a good time, look out for each other, and pitch in wherever needed
