General Description:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for national sales and channels development across the US. Responsibilities include identifying and closing profitable sales across the nation (out-of market) and developing indirect sales channels. This position will work closely with our local markets, General Managers, the Regional VP?s and the VP of Business Development to help close incremental business. This is a tactical sales role with a quota assigned to close business.
Key Responsibilities:
? Corporate Sales
-Identify, work, and close opportunities nationwide
-Focus on targeted regions, industries and/or accounts
-Build relationships
? Channels Development
- Develop long term channel opportunities with national and regional partners
- Recruit, train, track activity and provide sales support for partners
- Focus on opportunity generation by executing partner programs
- Build relationships with strategic partnerships
? Market Development
- Focus on new market development
-Assist with local markets as needed
- Direct partner resources into strategic markets
Requirements:
Knowledge and Skills:
? At least 7 years of Sales and/or Sales Management experience
? Selling complex solutions to C-Level executives in a variety of industries
? Strong relationship builder
? Background in I/T infrastructure or hosting
? Solution selling & complex I/T experience
? Strategic thinker, tactical execution
? Ability to partner and influence
? Business plan development
