BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - ECOMMERCE Belkin Corporation
What you?ll do
As a Business Development Manager - eCommerce, you will be a member of the eCommerce sales team charged with managing Belkin?s North American online sales channel. Business Development Manager will work closely with National Account Manager and Director of eCommerce Sales to execute aggressive online sales plan. Successful candidate will have experience in channel sales role(s) that includes at least two years managing eCommerce accounts including Amazon.com, Newegg, Tiger Direct or Buy.com
How you?ll do it
Account management of eCommerce partners including Amazon.com, Tiger Direct, Newegg and Buy.com
Prepare and present product proposals
Develop integrated demand generation campaigns to drive sales and increase awareness for Belkin products
Partner with Interactive Marketing team to drive search engine optimization, search engine marketing, online advertising, digital media, email marketing, website(s) and interactive campaigns to drive consumer and merchant acquisition, retention and loyalty.
Create and execute content as needed, often without any external agency support or staff, for website and partner websites; Create and manage search/keywords, social media marketing, banner ads, merchant product mock-ups, email campaigns, videos, collateral, branding, and campaign development.
What you?ll need
5+ years of successful business development, account management or interactive marketing experience in a channel sales based organization with extensive retail and eCommerce exposure
2+ years working with top-tier eCommerce accounts including Amazon.com, Tiger Direct, Newegg and Buy.com
3+ years? experience with a consumer goods supplier selling through eCommerce preferably in the CE space
Proven track record in consultative interactive and web account support and marketing
Strong knowledge of Internet technology and Internet marketing principles
Computer savvy, proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience using website content management systems, analytics solutions, and customer resource management systems (Salesforce.com, in particular)
What you?ve done
Forecast future sales and manage inventory levels in channel
Interface with internal sales, marketing, demand planning, finance, IT and warehouse staff to manage day-to-day business.
Ensure all sales and marketing initiatives drive top line revenue, optimize return-on-investment and achieve other key performance indicators and
are flawlessly executed.
Develop and manage six-month promotional calendar by account
Manage the day-to-day operations of Belkin?s website operations, including product content, inventory availability, pricing and promotional activities in order to optimize conversion and revenue.
Develop and manage online financial and operating and financial analytics and reporting to track and predict performance
Coordinate social media activities by actively leveraging industry blogs, video sharing, online chats, etc., messaging and increased brand awareness resulting in increased traffic to Belkin?s and Partner?s websites.
