The Business Development Manager creates, identifies, and closes sales for TinderBox within a specific geographical region. The Business Development Manager must be an ambitious self-starter who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time. We look for senior sales professionals that have the knowledge and skill set required to close business opportunities, up to enterprise deals. The Business Development Manager will work to establish a territory calling on businesses of all sizes.
Create and drive revenue within a specified region.
Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and cold-calling.
Drive brand awareness campaigns and lead generation via networking, associations & chambers of commerce.
Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
Own the sales cycle ? from lead generation to closure.
Develop strategic territory business plan.
Maintain account and opportunity forecasting.
Generate leads from trade shows and regional networking events.
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention.
A proven sales hunter and closer.
Minimum of 3-5 years of software sales and/or agency experience.
Experience in direct marketing, interactive and/or traditional marketing
Track record of sales excellence.
Proven relationships and knowledge of territory assigned.
Articulate and persuasive oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to work independently in a fast pace, rapid change environment.
Superior professional presence and business acumen.
Thorough understanding of MS Office applications and Salesforce.com.
Experience selling at the ?C? level a plus.
Agency relationships are a plus.
