We are looking for a passionate and talented individual to join the business development team.We are looking for a Business Development Manager who loves to find and engage new digital music customers. You will ultimately be responsible for finding new leads, contacting existing leads, and getting meetings with the appropriate person in the prospect company. You will be responsible for closing the customer and smoothly transitioning them to the integration team.Overview:? In this full-time role you will process a variety of leads and prospects from different in-bound and out-bound sources and activities across a broad range of digital music services. Creative, energetic and self-driven, you understand the sales process and the buying psychology and know what you can do to build sales trust and match use cases to the right MediaNet service offering. You also love the digital music industry, understanding a product in depth and then communicating that product to the marketplace. Some Key Responsibilities include:
Calling and emailing executives at all levels of business that are involved the digital music industry
Documenting various details including use case, lead scores, purchase timeframes, next steps
Understanding a lead's needs and effectively communicating how Lettuce will meet them
Using MediaNet's CRM system for lead management and sales forecasting
Ensuring 100% satisfaction with all customers
Prioritizing opportunities and applying appropriate resources
Qualifications:
4-year degree required
Passion for technology
Passion for the music industry
Excellent communication skills
Prior successful digital media sales or business development experience is a plus but not necessary
Consistent over-achievement in past experiences
LA or NY preferred
