Position Description:
The Business Development Manager reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for recruiting targeted, strategic ISV partners, to build and promote offerings that run on the Scribe Online Integration Platform.
Responsibilities Include:
Recruit targeted strategic partners to build and promote Solutions and Connectors on the Scribe Online Integration platform.
Manage the ongoing relationship with these strategic partners with an emphasis on bringing products to market.
Develop partnership plans with the strategic partners and work with the partner to deliver on these plans.
Work closely with the ISV field enablement team to drive the marketing and sales activities in the field with the partner necessary to achieving the product sell-through goals of the partnership.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) years? experience forming highly successful business partnerships in the software industry. It is highly desirable that the candidate have experience and relationships in the Cloud computing space. Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Demonstrated experience and success targeting strategically desirable companies and forming meaningful business partnerships with them.
Demonstrated experience and success building and growing successful strategic partnerships.
Extensive personal relationships in the CRM, ERP, and Cloud computing technology markets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Extensive experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
Adaptability to a fast paced environment and able to quickly understand facts and assumptions and recommend and implement future courses of action.
Self-motivated, self-starter with strong ability to operate with minimal guidance/direction.
Strong leadership and motivational skills.
Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong team player.
BS required, MBA is a plus.
