Business Development Manager WellCentive, Inc.
The Business Development Manager will engage partners, with which we have current relationships, to develop and execute joint marketing, sales & promotional strategies. Through these strategies and in collaboration with the appropriate field sales representation, this position will be responsible for generating revenue. The initial focus of this position is to implement responsible ?launch programs? in order to generate short-term revenue and build programs around long-term sustainability of the channel. The BDA reports to the Vice President of Business Development.
Wellcentive provides industry-leading Point-of-Care and Point-of-Community clinical quality improvement systems, which are used by physicians, their organizations, and communities to help improve the quality of preventive care and chronic disease management. Thousands of physicians across the United States are licensed to use our products, and we count some of the largest and most respected physician organizations, health information exchanges, professional organizations, and other HIT vendors as our clients. Our systems bridge the gap between the traditional disease management system and the traditional EMR system, and our recently venture-backed company is a rapidly growing and disruptive force in the marketplace.
The individual will have the following responsibilities:
Assist in joint partner planning processes that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with high performing partner relationships.
Assist in on-going professional relationship management directives with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
Assist in coordination activities with applicable Wellcentive personnel including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners? expectations.
Proactively assesses, document, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.
Participate, as well as lead in some circumstances, bi-monthly partnership review calls/meetings for the purpose of continued partner organization and operational efficiency.
Assist in channel harmony with other business development partners by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
Lead sales, marketing and solution development efforts that best address partner end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
Ensures partner compliance (i.e. lead generation, forecasting, process etc.) with all partner agreements.
Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
Proactively recruit and partake in all vetting processes in terms of new qualifying partners as well as the quarterly performance of contracted partners.
Experience, Education and Skills
Bachelor?s degree, preferred sales/marketing
3-5 years channel sales experience, Healthcare
Must have excellent organization, presentation and communication skills
Relationship management acumen a must
Independent, strategic thinker with sales and promotional acuities
