The SRM Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the global market development of SafeNet?s Software Rights Management (SRM) Cloud solutions. Market development includes: driving SafeNet?s product and business direction for serving Software-as-a-Service companies, developing relationships with key partners, as well as assisting global Sales team in driving opportunities to closure.
This person will work closely with senior leaders in SafeNet?s SRM unit to identify and prioritize important initiatives consistent with SafeNet?s Cloud strategy.

BA or BS mandatory
Experience:
8+ years of Business Development, Sales, Sales Overlay, Product Management or Market Development experience in the IT industry
Experience in the Cloud/SaaS markets
Skills:
Proven experience in successfully building and managing relationships with customers and partners
Capable of supporting sales in developing and managing a sales pipeline with demonstrated success in selling complex solutions
Proven ability to grasp technical concepts and communicate them to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
Experience in developing and managing third party partnerships
Knowledge of the Cloud/SaaS markets and ecosystem.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Comfortable with working in virtual team environments
A balance of excellent business development, sales, technical understanding, and collaboration skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Work with SafeNet?s management team on defining product and business direction of offering to SaaS vendors.
Work with VP of BD to assist in identifying and evaluating complementary technologies for SafeNet offering.
Work with product management in driving future product direction of SafeNet?s Software Monetization offering to ISVs.
Drive Sentinel Cloud sales activities, including supporting the SRM Sales team in cloud opportunities, and at times taking direct ownership of new customer opportunities
Manage the global cloud pipeline in collaboration with the regional Sales teams
Serve as in-region single point of contact for the sales team related to Sentinel Cloud selling strategies, supporting sales opportunities, and go to market initiatives
When relevant, independently develop new Sentinel Cloud customers, owning and driving the opportunities from lead to closure
Develop and manage relationships with key cloud ecosystem partners to help drive growth of the SRM cloud business
o Coordinate with internal resources and ecosystem partners to effectively support joint sales opportunities
o Develop key relationships with partner?s organization and engage the partner?s sales teams and channels to drive new leads and opportunities to SafeNet
o Work with partners to define and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) programs
o Coordinate with partner and SafeNet marketing to deliver sales enablement material (joint value proposition, presentations, case studies, web, PR, etc.) and sales training for both partner and SafeNet organizations
Work with relevant internal resources (field marketing, product marketing, product management, etc.) to develop and launch programs that help drive cloud business growth.
Keep up to date with the relevant cloud industry, ecosystem, and competitive landscape
Demonstrate a strong understanding of business drivers and market dynamics to help continuously evolve the SafeNet SRM cloud strategy
