Centrify is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to be based in our Sunnyvale, CA headquarters. This position will report to the Senior Director of Business Development and the candidate must be based in the Silicon Valley area. Centrify is a leading provider of identity and access management solutions that has over 40500 customers including 40% of the Fortune 50. Centrify is a fast growing (50% year to year growth) private company and has raised over $50 million in venture capital from some of the top tier VCs in Silicon Valley and Europe (e.g. Accel, Mayfield, Sigma, Index Ventures, etc.). Centrify is rapidly expanding its solutions from datacenter software to on-demand cloud services for mobile & cloud applications, and needs a Business Development Manager to establish new strategic partnerships with mobile and cloud vendors as well as grow the existing business through on-premise datacenter ISV partnerships.
Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be a key catalyst to expand the reach and distribution of Centrify?s market leading next-generation identity services platform. The focus of the position is to drive business and technical relationships with key industry vendors, as well as generate incremental sales opportunities via these relationships. The position will be closely aligned with Centrify?s marketing, sales, product management and engineering groups.
Responsibilities:
Be known as the driving force in the rapid adoption by partners of our free-to-use market-seeding features, our developer frameworks, and other synergistic offerings.
Evangelize and execute the go-to-market models that will rapidly expand the use of Centrify?s datacenter, cloud and mobile platforms.
Win initial adoption and proof points with mobile and cloud ISVs for executing Centrify?s thought leadership technology partnership activities.
Through personal example, establish the style and approach that will characterize Centrify?s dealings with strategic partners and the marketplace.
Serve as a key member of the Business & Corporate Development team that sets the company?s strategic initiatives with a unique perspective on how to rapidly scale the market adoption of Centrify?s platform and solutions.
Spearhead and manage multiple business development initiatives that are consistent with the company?s overall strategy.
Work closely with product management, marketing and sales teams to identify prospective partners, initiate contact, drive execution and manage/report on initiative progress.
Manage contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as required.

Requirements:
Centrify requires a business development manager who can identify potential deals and develop the tactics and teams needed to bring them to fruition. This manager will need to actively lead new business development initiatives in an effective, aggressive manner. These needs, essential at this stage of the company?s corporate development, establish the necessary professional background and experience parameters for the successful candidate.
5 years plus of business development, product management, marketing, and/or sales management experience.
Preferred experience in the enterprise infrastructure space, with working knowledge & experience in Enterprise Security, Cloud, Mobile and SaaS markets a major plus.
Extensive experience with developing and managing partnerships for the purpose of market seeding/rapidly scaling distribution, revenue generation and other strategic partnerships.
Experience marketing or selling products or services in a rapidly evolving, high growth, dynamic venture-backed environment.
A good understanding of Centrify?s market: products, players, technologies.
Extraordinary people?s skills, persuasive personal presence and presentation.
Proven track record of successfully exceeding targets and wining over the competition.
Super motivated and hands-on team player.
Desire to win at all costs, persistent, results oriented.
Based in Silicon Valley.
