Job Description :
Position: Business Development Manager
Position Overview: This is a full time sales position that is responsible for building relationships with health plans specifically geared toward Medicaid and Medicare populations. This individual becomes the face of our organization to the health insurance community.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
? Building direct relationships with Chief Medical Officers, Medical Directors, Pharmacy Directors, Case and Utilization Managers and other key constituents.
? Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls and written communication.
? Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the company?s offered product lines, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.
? Achieve high sales volumes in conjunction with company goals to obtain maximum profitability.
? Develop and conduct persuasive verbal and written sales presentations to prospective clients.
? Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the company to ensure high quality of service to customers.
? Knowledge of market trends, competition and key customers within the industry and region.
Requirements
Knowledge / Education:
? Bachelor?s Degree required
? MBA a plus
Job Experience:
? 3-5 years sales experience; previous healthcare supplies sales experience preferred
