Business Development & Partner Programs Director

To augment our growth, we are looking for a top tier Business Development & Partner Programs Director. The successful candidate will be a credible, professional, charismatic, passionate, and experienced leader, capable of leveraging diverse customers and personal relationships, in order to identify new opportunities to build channels and channel sales. This person will research, develop, and manage critical strategic partnerships. Position will maintain awareness of all external industry developments and identifying emerging trends that help build business and market share. Position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities:
Find, develop and negotiate strategic alliances and partnerships.
Optimize MetraTech?s presence and marketing benefits within partner organizations and activities
Manage overall channel partnerships, partner forecasting, channel lead generation, partner sales tools, and account sales strategy.
Develop promotional strategies for customers and channels to achieve increased lead generation and drive qualification and conversion to sales.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of industry trends and developments across entire value chain
Pursue opportunities to expand our service offering and capabilities in new market segments, new sales/service delivery channels, and emerging battery, vehicle and charging technology
Based on understanding of market trends, bring forward ideas and opportunities to invest in and/or create new business ventures, and inform product development of emerging market needs
Manage partnership structuring and negotiation in situations where we are developing business opportunities with third parties
Proactively monitor performance and activity of each partner identifying new opportunities to increase revenue.
Manage the relationship with our partners including communicating improvements to product and implementations, deployment of new campaigns, marketing creative, and training.
Develop, promote, and implement pricing strategy based on partner characteristics.
Promote partner initiatives and voice partner needs in internal product steering and marketing initiative meetings.
Research and analyze market and product information, create custom competitive marketing information for partners, and coordinate marketing communication plans with partner team leaders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree from an accredited four year college
MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred
10+ years experience in strategy, business development, and/or channel partner management
10+ years in technology field, preferably enterprise software. SaaS experience helpful.
5+ years experience structuring and negotiating partner management agreements
Outstanding networking and relationship management skills
