BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL with Science Experience ChanTest
Minimum qualifications are a bachelor?s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science, 5 years? experience in technical science-based selling; experience in selling pre-clinical safety and discovery services and reagents to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, or with a preclinical CRO is a plus, proven ability to convert leads into sales and grow territories; ?hunter? vs. ?farmer?, ability to quickly identify client needs and match them to ChanTest products and services, ability to travel frequently.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving/exceeding assigned sales targets for the territory, maintaining relationships and grow business with assigned existing customers, identifying new prospects and contacts therein and close new business with them, providing feedback from customers for the introduction of new products and services to achieve growth goals, ensuring that pricing and terms for all products and services are profitable and competitive (under management guidance), maintaining awareness of business and market related trends in order to provide feedback to senior management, monitoring competitive activities in current and targeted markets and managing expenses to remain within assigned budget.
