We are looking for a Junior Business Development candidate to establish and maintain relationships/partnerships with VIP Web Publishers, by prospecting, interacting regularly with key decision-makers, and providing continuous support through the decision making process by providing key analytics and value of the AddThis product. The ideal candidate will be proactive in prospecting and securing new business in growing our Publisher reach.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prospect and close VIP Web Publishers in using AddThis and provide value proposition around data analytics
Manage and grow VIP publisher pipeline
Account manage and grow the VIP Web Publishers on the West Coast, including ?up selling? on new product features and solidifying beta partnership opportunities
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of a social media product strategy as it relates to publisher goals of content discovery, user engagement, and advertising revenue
Actively collect publisher feedback, and work internally with Product Development on enhancing the AddThis product
Lead integration/onboarding calls, prepare presentations and continuous review of implementations and offering best-practice advice
Understand the needs of our publishers (social media, content owners and analytic stakeholders) and create engagement
Identify strategic opportunities with VIP publishers, including introducing data targeting capabilities
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor?s degree and/or equivalent work experience
At least 3 years of work experience in account management, client relationship role
Ability to build and foster business development relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven presentation skills
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/clients
Team-player with superior interpersonal skills who can work closely with both technical development teams and end business users
Proven skills in MS Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, Visio)
Proven ability to work independently with little direction and be a self-starter
Proven experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
