What You'll Do for Us
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Business Development Representative (BDR) will work as a key part of the sales qualification process to target and pre-qualify prospective customer contacts for TimeTrade?s SaaS appointment scheduling platform.
You will proactively make outbound calls to identified target accounts and also qualify any inbound leads, opportunities or inquiries from marketing campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Manage entire new business development pipeline from lead generation through close including research and identify prospective customer contacts using company websites, web searches, networking tools like LinkedIn and other social media
Maintain records of all calls made and status in salesforce.com (CRM Tool) prospect, opportunity and quote data.
Perform sales activities for TimeTrade to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
Identify prospects, developing new business opportunities and/or increasing existing business and be able to make 40-80 calls a day to prospects.
Qualify prospect regarding needs, budgets, timeframes, and decision-making process.
Assist in building a client base of qualified leads and maintain minimum performance standards and increase pipeline for TimeTrade sales.
Leverage corporate marketing programs to solicit sales, pursuing both target and new accounts.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales experience in the software industry.
Demonstrated ability to perform cold and warm calling techniques.
Ability to triage leads as needed.
Demonstrated ability to interact with people successfully, either in person or over the phone, to lead or persuade, overcome challenges or organize activity.
Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
Enthusiastic and self-starting approach
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Ability to take direction, be coached and mentored
Strong presence and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn web applications such as Microsoft Office/Exchange, SalesForce and LinkedIn
You must have 2+ years inside sales and/or lead generation experience, preferably in the software industry.
