Business Development Representative OwnCloud
ownCloud, the leader in open source enterprise file share and sync software, is seeking a Business Development Representative. We are a well funded, highly dynamic early-stage company located in the Boston area.
As a Business Development Representative you will be the ?tip of the spear? in engaging with prospects who are interested in the Enterprise Edition of ownCloud. You will be responsible for managing inbound activity, qualifying interest, and engaging the appropriate sales executives in the process. This role will expose you to a wide range of selling situations, and enable you to quickly gain experience and grow your career.
Qualified Candidate will be asked to:
Qualify inbound interest in the ownCloud Enterprise edition via phone and email.
Quickly engage prospects in a dialog and identify opportunities.
Concisely document all prospect interactions.
Maintain up to date information in the CRM and over-communicate with the sales team.
1+ years of prior telesales experience.
Proven track record of high performance in a tele-sales environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task combined with a maniacal attention to detail.
Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.
A desire for career growth in technology sales.
