Allegro seeks to hire a team of Business Development Representatives. As a Business Development Representative, you will establish contact with firms in Allegro?s target energy sectors, identify their needs in trading and risk, and identify the potential for follow up by Allegro?s Sales team.
Challenges of the position include:
Contacting (via email and phone) the highest potential companies within Allegro?s target market sectors and develop relationships with decision makers ? including cold calling and appointment setting.
Working as part of a strong Marketing team using scripts and talking points that will be required for your success in market research and lead generation
Interviewing and analyzing potential customers to identify the firm?s needs for trading and risk systems ? and to identify the best leads for pursuit by the Sales team
Utilizing best in class marketing tools, including Salesforce.com and Marketo, to manage leads, record the sales pursuit process, capture information, and communicate with the Sales team as leads are identified
Qualifications for consideration:
Minimum 3 years? experience in inside sales, lead generation, or business development with a track record of success
Good interpersonal skills and an articulate speaker on the phone, and with a positive, professional attitude
Prior experience in the energy industry (utilities or petroleum) is a plus, but not essential
