Business Development Representative Autotask

Job Summary:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for being the ?first point of contact? for sales prospects, and quickly moving them through the company?s pre-qualification process. You will have specific times of day where you are responsible and accountable for monitoring incoming leads from the web, and responding within maximum specified timeframes. You will also be expected to take and process incoming calls to the company?s sales line.
The BDR needs to understand enough about the company?s software applications and benefits in order to help explain ?the basics? to prospects. Technical support will be available to assist for the BDR. Over time the BDR should be able to answer prospects? questions in some detail after training and some experience. It is likely that BDRs will assist in and directly sell and take orders for the lower-end, Autotask Product and smaller PRO prospects.
In addition to processing incoming leads from the web, phone, and e-mails, BDRs are also expected to make a fair amount of outbound calls to support the company?s marketing programs. These outbound calls will generally carry an objective to either drive attendance to events, or follow-up afterwards. BDRs will also diligently follow-up on incoming leads that they were unable to reach on the first attempt.
Essential Responsibilities:
Rapidly responding to all lead generation efforts
Pre-Qualifying sales inquiries generated by various methods of marketing.
Provide follow-up to inquiries from weekly Webinars, Tradeshows, and other Marketing programs.
Distributing qualified selling opportunities to the sale team in an equitable fashion
Collaborating with sales team on a regular basis to ensure prospects are being reached in a timely manner, and the proper level of pre-qualification is being done.
Must maintain accurate and timely contact activity data in our sales automation tool.
Employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
Must possess a positive, professional phone demeanor; superior communication skills.
Must have high aptitude for learning and must be self-driven in a high opportunity environment.
Proven communication skills and working relationships with sales teams.
Ability to multi-task.
Minimum of 1-2 years inbound and/or outbound telemarketing/tele sales experience.
4-year college degree preferred.
MUST be fluent in Spanish
