Business Development Representative Autotask
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for being the ?first point of contact? for sales prospects, and quickly moving them through the company?s pre-qualification process. You will have specific times of day where you are responsible and accountable for monitoring incoming leads from the web, and responding within maximum specified timeframes. You will also be expected to take and process incoming calls to the company?s sales line.
The BDR needs to understand enough about the company?s software applications and benefits in order to help explain ?the basics? to prospects. Technical support will be available to assist for the BDR. Over time the BDR should be able to answer prospects? questions in some detail after training and some experience. It is likely that BDRs will assist in and directly sell and take orders for the lower-end, Autotask Product and smaller PRO prospects.
In addition to processing incoming leads from the web, phone, and e-mails, BDRs are also expected to make a fair amount of outbound calls to support the company?s marketing programs. These outbound calls will generally carry an objective to either drive attendance to events, or follow-up afterwards. BDRs will also diligently follow-up on incoming leads that they were unable to reach on the first attempt.
Specific duties of the BDR include:
Rapidly responding to all lead generation efforts
